Happy Friday everyone! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Melissa and I are currently in the car on our way to a wedding! So I'm going to make this point as short and to the point as possible :). Welcome to week 10 of my life!
For the title card, I attached some DIY alphas onto a grey label, then hand lettered the week number. I wrote out the full dates of the week into the blank space at the bottom of the card.
For this card I wrote a little title onto a yellow label peeking out from behind the picture. I also included an adorable banner embellishment I found at the Target dollar spot.
For the card on the right, I staggered a few labels running off either edge of the card. I then wrote a different activity or story from Monday of this week on each label.
I kept these cards really simple, just attaching the picture to the left card and journaling on the right.
Again, kept it very simple and added a pink banner (also from Target dollar spot) layered on top of the blue printed banner on the card.
I filled out the little date tab on this card, adding a small title to the bottom of it, and the wrote in my journaling. I told you I'm in the business of busting out some spreads, quick and easy is the name of the game!
Picture and journaling...not much to explain here.
The birthday month card takes the award for my favorite pocket in this spread. I hand lettered 'birthday month' into the journaling area. I then used pink alphas to spell out the month, and finished off with a gold asterisk embellishment placed over the correct month.
My parents dog stayed with us that weekend, and yes, we call him Captain Pufflepants, or The Captain for short.
I always love capturing lovey moments between my two girls, so I made another collage to include my favorites from this particular moment. I added the title with teal alphas found in the Target dollar spot. I then embellished with pink sequins scattered across the card.
Finally, I included a single card to show that it was my birthday this week. Melissa always draws me a little message on my dry erase board, so I thought that was a good thing to record for posterity. And of course I had many, many more pictures from my birthday, so I'm planning an insert to include in this layout with all those goodies.
