October at a Glance

Ok guys, its that time again.  October seems to have flown by in a blur.  I have been so busy, and unfortunately I wasn't able to post as much as I would have liked.  So this will be a short and sweet recap of what I was able to share in the month of October.

First up, I gave you guys a tour of how I organize my personal Filofax.  I showed you how I divide my Filofax up into sections, and what I include in each section.  This post also showed a sneak peak of some of the things you'll find in my Etsy shop!

Next I announced that I was officially starting Project Life!  I have always, always, wanted to be a scrapbooker.  I just never had the time to sit down and scrapbook the "old fashioned" way.  So I am super excited about this fast and easy way of making beautiful memory albums!  I shared where I was starting and what my plans were for beginning my Project Life.

I also shared with you a mini face lift I gave my desk.  I have been wanting to do a huge overhaul of this space for a while now, but never found the time to get it done.  I finally realized that not every project can be done over night, and sometimes you just have to slow down and tackle larger projects in smaller baby steps.  So I took the first baby step and did some preliminary purging and organizing.  This mini organizing session definitely started the juice flowing, and I've been itching to get back in there and work some more magic to turn this corner into my dream work space.

Last month I also finished my first full Project Life layout, pictures and all!  I am so thrilled with how it turned out, and I am definitely completely hooked.  I also shared a nifty little tip about how you can include videos in your layouts!

So the ball may have gotten dropped with the Fav Five series this month...whoops!  Even though it wasn't a weekly occurrence like it usually is, I still shared with you my all time favorite organizational apps.  I am the person that truly takes to heart "there's an app for that" and have gone a bit app-crazy in the past. So naturally I have tested out tons of organizational apps, and these five made it to the top of my list!
