Ready to dive into another Fav Five? I know I am! Today, we're taking a look at some adorable and inspirational nurseries. While I myself am a few years off from needing to design any nurseries, I thought it'd be fun to play pretend and dream about my ideal nursery. And with my tendency to drag out the planning stages of a room, it can never be too early to start!

I love this sweet and feminine nursery I found on Project Nursery (a great site for nursery inspiration). I love the crisp white board and batten treatment paired with the soft grey walls. The subtle additions of light pink accents make this room undeniably feminine, without knocking you over the head with it. And what princess's room is complete without a chandelier?

This next nursery is feminine with a modern twist. The bold uses of mixed patterns, like the striped wall, dotted crib bumper and chevron throw, really make the room feel fun. And how can you not swoon over that amazing name decal above the crib. Such a creative use of different colors, fonts and materials (the M is DIYed out of plastic flowers). And the mommy of this room gets major points for use of an IKEA expedit for the changing table, so it can be converted to a regular bookcase as baby grows!

The wall above the crib is what really drew me to this nursery. I love the bold hot pink, layered with the whites of the frames and details. I just love the huge picture frames, which are then framed again with a painted border on the wall. So cool!

This nursery has a very sophisticated vibe to it. While I'll probably go a more kid-friendly route with any nurseries I end up decorating, I still can't help but admire this beautiful space. I have seen a couple nurseries with the crib framed or surrounded by curtains, and I am just loving that look. I also love the comfy armchair, which could be moved to another room once you no longer need a rocking chair. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of your typical nursery rocking chair, so I love this alternative!

Finally, I had to include a nursery that could be more gender neutral. With my love for the color pink, I just naturally gravitate towards pink nurseries. This room being the one exception. I have admired this nursery since before I even started blogging. I love the awesome mix of bright and fun colors, and the many geometric patterns. This room looks like its just waiting for a happy baby to come play and make memories in it. If I have a boy, I will definitely be coming back to this room for some major inspiration!
Well that wraps it up! Which nursery was your favorite? Do you lean more towards gender neutral nurseries, or do you like decorating for the gender? What about traditional vs. modern nursery spaces? Lets hear your thoughts in the comments!
